Packet Pickup & Late Registration

Location International Storytelling Center, 116 W. Main St., Jonesborough, TN

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to Jonesborough’s Haunts & Happenings Festival move to Friday night, the Monster Mile, originally scheduled for Friday night, has been cancelled.  Also, due to the expected crowds for the festival, it will be difficult for runners to get to and from downtown Jonesborough.  For this reason, we will only hold packet pickup on Saturday morning.  We strongly encourage everyone to arrive early Saturday morning to avoid the late rush!  We will close packet pickup and late registration at 9:30 am in order to start the race on time.

  • Saturday, October 26, 7:00 am – 9:30 am

 LOCATION:

Jonesborough, TN, Tennessee’s Oldest Town    Run Amuck with us at the Haunted Half Marathon. We think Jonesborough is the perfect home for the Haunted Half Marathon. It has a lot to offer as “Tennessee’s Oldest Town” with many historic homes and buildings, the Storytelling Center, and a haunted history which fits into the theme of the race. The Town of Jonesborough has welcomed Haunted Half with open arms and in cooperation with their Haunts & Happenings, will offer a full day of Halloween festivities in the afternoon following the race.  We look forward to many years of haunted running in Jonesborough!

Time Limit – Note that there is a 3-hour time limit as requested by the Town Of Jonesborough. If you plan to take longer than 3 hours you are still welcome to participate and finish the race, but once the 3-hour time limit has passed, you may be on your own as far as traffic control, and you may be required to use sidewalks.  We will continue to keep the timing system in operation until the last runner crosses the finish line.  If you think it will take much longer than 3 hours to complete the race, you are encouraged to start early (see below).

Early Start (Note: Due to timing issues, relay teams may not start early) – 9:30 am.  If you think you will finish in 3 hours 15 minutes or longer, you are welcome to start early.  Meet at the starting line at 9:30 am to check in and get started, and we will also keep your time for you.  If you feel like you need to start earlier than 9:30 am, you can start on your own anytime between 9:00 and 9:30 am, but you must keep your own time and turn it into the results tent when you finish.  We ask that anyone starting prior to 9:30 remove the timing strip from the back of your bib number so we won’t record an incorrect time.
